The Groton School – Track & Fields

About This Project

The Groton School consisted of three projects throughout the summer of 2023.  Project 1 – The track and field project was a complete start to finish job consisting of turning two existing soccer fields into to one new soccer field and 8 lane running track.   Project 2 – The Multi-Sport Turf Field was a complete start to finish job delivered in 100 days to meet the school’s athletic schedule.  The scope consisted of turning a natural grass baseball field into one new 130,000 square foot multi-sport synthetic turf field.  Project 3 – Campus paving – new asphalt at the Hockey Rink parking lot and Athletics Campus Driveway.  

Our Work Included:

• Site demolition, including tree removal, material export.
• Site work, including grading, layout, engineering, drainage, track paving & surfacing, constructing root zone athletic field, natural stone walls, poured in place anchor curb and more.
• Site amenities, including Musco Lighting, track and field equipment, score boards, and more.
• Landscaping, including laser grading, installation of sod, hydroseed & synthetic turf, irrigation, and plantings.
